I recently received my h1ac results via the NHS app, however there is a message saying that there is a positive bias by an average of 2 mmol/mol higher than previous results.
Does this mean that when comparing my results to previous tests, i should reduce the result by 2mmol to compare like for like?
Does anyone have more information on this issue?

NOTE, recent HbA1c reagent change may cause a positive bias to results
which are an average of 2 mmol/mol higher than previous. Recommend use
glucose for diagnosis of diabetes - refer to related Synnovis comms
sent on 6/10/25.
