Dear all,
We are planning a research study- development and feasibility of a systematically tailored programme to prevent type-2 diabetes among high risk South Asians in the UK. Those who are at high risk of developing type-2 diabetes (HbA1c- 6 to 6.4) will be screened through community centres, and this diet and lifestyle programme will be delivered as per their needs and cultural norms. The programme will be internet-based (ie, accessible at home), family-based (ie, involvement of other family members), and yoga-based (they will watch yoga videos and practice of their own).
We need some feedback from you especially from South Asians in the UK about the overall concept - what do you think about this project- helpful/not helpful etc?
Many thanks in advance,
Dr K Chattopadhyay
