T slim pump

I've been offered the t slim today which I'm delighted about as long as funding is agreed by my CCG but bit surprised when I was told that training on the pump is not available until 30th September. Has anyone else had to wait a long as this before they got their pump?
 
Hi @steveo4, I started my first pump in 2012 so my memory is a bit hazy, but I was on the priority list at my clinic and it took about a year before I had my training and started on my pump (the year was from being asked if I'd like to try a pump).

The training is done by the Tandem rep so not surprised you will have to wait tbh, they're really hitting the NHS now so would expect demand to increase and training to be delayed.
