Ok so I was picking up my prescription and was asked if I wanted the flu jab. Now I've never had the flu jab but I'm not sure if it will help in the long run. Any advice?

If you were unfortunate to get flu you would see how ill you can get and how difficult it is to control your type 1 diabetes, I've only ever had flu once and was really unwell and my bg levels went crazy, ever since then I've had the flu jab each year as a precautionary measure.

Like love many people think they have had flu when in reality it was a heavy cold, proper flu once you've had it you won't want it again.

Well I have pneumonia. But was offered the flu jab but wasn't sure. But I do seem to always get ill or something

Definitely yes have it whatever type a diabetic is they certainly don't want to get flu

Pneumonia is very different from flu, you can get a one of injection for that as well. It is worth having both
