Hi guys,
Just a quick question, I was just going to take some anadin ultra tablets and I was reading the back and it says that I must speak to a doctor or pharmacist if you have diabetes, why is this ? I have taken them in the past but only just read the back?

With almost every drug, they tend to have negative effects on the liver and kidneys when used for prolonged periods.

From the above link:

"Careful consideration should also be exercised before initiating long-term treatment of patients with risk factors for cardiovascular events (e.g. hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes mellitus, smoking), particularly if high doses of ibuprofen (2400 mg/day) are required."

Pop into any chemist and speak to the pharmacist. Unless you have severe kidney damage or liver issues then you should be fine. Always best to check first though.
