Hi all, I was thinking about having a donner kebab. if I eat donner kebab meat and salad without the naan bread is it ok or is it high in carbs? I dont eat these regularly. I used to eat about 5 a year. But not had one since diagnosed with T2. Thanks for your help

Kebab about 65g I was told. So gave it a miss lol. Could you advise me on what alcohol I should drink? Not sure if real ale got many carbs in. Or is cider better? . But ive been told vodka and diet coke is fine as theres no carbs in it? Thanks for your help

Ale and Cider are quite carb-loaded. Basically anything fermented is going to have more carbs because of the remaining sugars that haven't fermented off and give it it's flavour.
Distilled drinks like whisky, gin, vodka etc are virtually carb free.

Have chicken if you like it easy, shish if you like to give your teeth a work out. But red wine to wash it down if you want some booze.
