I remember reading a post from someone who takes T3 for their underactive thyroid but can't remember who it was.
I have been taking T3 since March (started on 1/4 tablet then 1/2 and since June 1 tablet, next test end of this month) but my BG levels have risen to 6 and only going to 7 two hours after food. I would like to know if this is a side effect of taking this medication.

I don't know if you're thinkingof me, but I take NDT (natural dessicated thyroid) which is both T4 and T3. Since I inject basal and bolus for my blood levels, and the two things started at roughly the same time, I'd have no idea if there were any effect. I believe some see a rise for T4. That's from memory when I was Type 2. Haven't researched effect of T3 on BG levels.
