hi i have posted a few posts since i became a member, never had a response, i wonder why and if anyone else out there has had the same experience on this site?

How you doing? Welcome to the club, myself only joined last Friday been Diabetic a Week..Walking every day, no pasta or bread, Ferking Fish and salad LOVE IT....NOT...

Last night I had to eat in another room, while I was having Fish and Boiled runner beans my family had Lasagna..Could not be in the same room..I am sure I will learn,
 
Tina, the problem maybe that as an insulin using T2 a lot of us don't feel qualified to answer your questions. I saw you posted in the "What was your fasting level..." thread yesterday asking for help. I was about to give you an answer when I saw you were an insulin user. To me as a non insulin T2 it means I would not be confident answering your question in case I gave you wrong advice. There is a new "What was your fasting level..." thread for T1's. Try the same post in there as I'm sure someone will help you. Good luck with the op :wave:

David, search the forum for the Aubergine Lasagne recipe - a brilliant way to eat a low carb lasagne and can be cooked in the same dish.

:lol: Yes know all about that. When my daughter comes home she takes great delight in trying to wind her old man up. Last time she even asked me to go buy her a big bar of chocolate! However Davide, once you get into the swing of it and you start to find out all the brilliant stuff you CAN eat you'll find the family wanting yours. Try looking at the low carb recipe thread and cook yourself something nice as retaliation. Alternatively get your own back and cook yourself a nice bacon & egg fry up and then ban them from having some themselves as it's dad's diabetic food only...
