So I recently found out from Tandem rep that if you start the sensor on the pump, this will be the primary connection for the sensor.
As for time between sensors I have never waited a set amount of time and always started a few minutes after removing the old one.
Dexcom sensors are a lot more stable than Libra. Don't think you will have any issues which way you start your sensor.
