They are telling me that I should receive a prompt to deliver any remaining insulin once the bolus has been delivered. I didn’t see one the last time I tried to give a big bolus. I would never use more than 25units without using the extended bolus feature. Tandem can’t tell me if using the extended bolus feature means that I won’t get the prompt. I rarely need to use this much insulin for a meal - mainly things like pizza/eating out. I’m really disappointed in this feature of the pump as I thought the pump would help me to manage these types of foods better. I have a really high level of insulin resistance and I have no idea why. My clinic constantly tells me how surprising my insulin resistance is for my build/diet.</blockquote>
