Tape to stick loose infusion set?

Annoyingly have a dodgy infusion set peeling slightly to one side. As it was gradually getting worse I stuck some Mefix tape on top to keep it down til my set change tomorrow. This doesn't seem to be very sticky and is already peeling away. What's the best tape for when this happens please?

Have to attend diabetic clinic shortly so no time to do full set change.

Micropore tape works for a couple of days. Tagaderm patches work for about a week, but why not just change early?

[Edit - sorry, you said why not]

Mefix works very well when you use an alcohol wipe on the skin before affixing it. Obviously avoiding the wipe touching the cannula tape. Skin Tac I have also found very good.

Would you really use SkinTac just for an infusion set, rather than for a CGM sensor? Sounds like overkill, faffing around with rubber gloves etc?

Erm why would you need to use rubber gloves? All you do is open the pkt and use that, also an alcohol swab removes any tac from fingers with no problem.
Skintac is also a very good barrier if you have an allergy from the sticky on the cannula tape :)

The Opsite stuff is great for sticking down stuff. Though I have sensitive skin and find it leaves me a little red and itchy if I haven't been taking my antihistamines
