hi guys
for a bit now my food taste different any body got an idea

have you dropped sugar and some food items are now tasting sweeter than they did?

Metformin affected my taste of food and in particular made vegetables taste like burnt plastic. It is on the list of known side effects so if you are taking Metformin see your nurse.

EDIT: I have been trying to think of the phrase they used on the PIL. I think it was "Taste Disturbance".

thanks for you for your reply, I have had a sweet tooth since an operation for tounge cancer three years ago, ive been eating too much sweet stuff, another member says it might be metformin causing it. ill see my doc. cheers steve c
