Pre diabetes I use to drink "ordinary" tea with skim milk and sugar. plus various unsweetened herbal varieties. When I was diagnosed with T2 I switched to just the herbal ones so I could avoid skimmed milk & sugar, and have never had any issues with them. I now suffer from arthritis and read that green tea could help. It
doesn't,
- but instead it
has actually noticeably reduced my glucose levels.
I just use ordinary green tea bags, but currently with an added turmeric one which I found makes the green stuff more palatable!
I've also drunk decaff coffee for years, and still do, but now with cream and stevia drops and occasionally added cocoa powder for a sort of mocha, and have no problems with this either.
