If you want to show a picture placed on your computer, you use the button "Upload a File"
placed to the right of the "Post Reply" button.

In that case you have to resize it first. If you don't have a photo editor, you can download one for free. There are plenty of them available and they are usually very easy to use.
Search for Picture or Photo resizer.
I use Irfan View.
 
Or you can use a service like this:

You can choose whether to resize your image or keep the original dimensions and you are provided with links that you can then use to show your pictures here.
 
I think is a sculpture in Reykjavik, Iceland . I went at the start of this month . I saw the NorthernLights and I went whale watching and saw a whale!!!
The wish list the Macmillan nurses gave me to fill in is being ticked off nicely

That is a walkway between the tectonic plates!!!! That is a giant gap that theIcelandics put between the plates so people can look down at the giant gap!!
 
Not only did you capture the aurora borealis but you also captured what looks like a UFO in the upper right of the picture.

It's a plane mist!!!
