On Thurs 23rd I have a phone call with the more communicative Nurse of 2 What should I ask ?
Age 72, 2 1/4 yrs diagnosis . (firstly 1.5, then 2 then 2 with 1x insulin) weigh 45kg ,- cant put on weight for long.
Last AbHc test 42 the other nurse told me I must be having hypos. I was 5m ago, no symptoms ,until I suspected a faulty prick monitor. Since a new one given NO readings below 5. That nurse lowered the insulin dose.
I really dont know what readings i should be aiming at .
How to test for any foods to avoid (seems hit and miss , not consistent. And how liberal to be .
How to put on weight
Does it matter what I do - Sugar products are a No no thats for sure.
PS Are there any pieces to read on here for beginners for example that might throw light on the questions .
