Temperature and BS levels

I have had abdominal pain for a couple of days now. It's worse when I stand up! I have only taken 2 paracetamol. My average BS level is @ 6.3-6.5. My fasting level this morning is 10.5! I did have a temperature last night and did not sleep. Can't get appointment @ GP for 8 days! My question is does a temp and discomfort up BS levels! I have my second HbAc1 in 2 weeks, I have worked hard to get this right now it could be scuppered!
