[QUOTE="PatsyB, post: 2711636, member: 89169"] [B]Started 12 weeks ago muscle pains in both arms and legs, felt awful but carried on I was out walking my dogs and thought as I got half way around I feel weird so checked my levels which had risen instead of going down as they normally did when I was exercising, so I did no more but rang the Doctors and asked for emergency appointment which i got that day. Blood tests were taken and a day later I was asked to go back as the Doctor wished to see me about the blood test results, Inflamatory markers were sky high and I was asked to go to Hospital to the Ambulatory Ward where further blood tests were taken. I was told I had to go0 back on the Saturday which I did and further blood tests were taken and I was given antibiotics, I also had an Iron blood tests to determine if needed iron infusion. I went home and as I got home the Hospital rang asking me to back for an infusion I requested to go in the following morning which I did and I had a Feritin infusion. I have had another Feritin infusion since and told to take Vit D and folic acid as both were shown to be depleted in my blood tests . I still have the darn pains in muscles as no pain killers were given and no diagnosis made so am taking Paracetomol in the hopes it goes away. Can not walk my dog's like I normally do so they have a small walk but by the afternoon I am laid on the bed tired out again.
