Hi all,
I went through annual fasting blood analysis at work. HbA1c is 4.9 I believe it is normal? Report is 3pg long, has a lots of info. Some are outside the ranges I believe so I am listing only those below:

1.Total cholesterol: 147.23 mg/dl [I believe this is normal? doc put a red circle on this too]
2. Triglycerides 82.76
3. LDL-C 92.07
4. HDL-C 55.19
5. Glucose 109.94 mg/dl
6. MCH 26.6 pg
7. MCHC 31.5 g/dl
8. PLT 115
9. mpv 12.4
10. PCT 0.143%
11. PDW 24.8%

Now researching on the above; but would appreciate your feedback what they mean actually. Feel free to comment.

I think responses may be a little limited, due to the different measuring units used wherever you are. Your HbA1c is excellent though, so it doesn't look like you have any immediate concerns about diabetes.

Is this the first panel you have had done, and if not, how does these results compare with other panels you've had done?

Thanks AndBreathe for your response. Yes you are right. Even I have problem with understanding with the values as while researching I am seeing different units on various websites. Not sure how to interpret the graphs etc. So what I did this is - I converted the values. I have used online calculator for conversion from this site - http://en.mte.cz/conversion.php?mmol=&mg=55.2&count_it=1

I have provided original values in mg/dl and converted values too.

1.Total cholesterol: 147.23 mg/dl - 8.2 mmol/l [I believe this is normal? doc put a red circle on this too]
2. Triglycerides 82.76 - 4.6 mmol/l
3. LDL-C 92.07 - 5.1 mmol/l
4. HDL-C 55.19 - 3.0 mmol/l
5. Glucose 109.94 mg/dl - 6.1 mmol/l
6. MCH 26.6 pg - not sure how to convert this
7. MCHC 31.5 g/dl - not sure how to convert this
8. PLT 115 - not sure how to convert this
9. mpv 12.4 - not sure how to convert this
10. PCT 0.143%
11. PDW 24.8%

Please look into these, I think fasting glucose of 6.1 is very high? Apparently two standards are there? still reading the info from various sites. Looking for your comments too.

Re: Is this the first panel you have had done, and if not, how does these results compare with other panels you've had done? - this is the first time we workers could get the papers back. Previously we were not given any copies. 4 years back, I was told that I was 'pre-T2D' but subsequent tests nothing was told of that sort to me. I started exercising for last 14 months or so.
