Test strip prices....

Hello i recently received a OneTouch Verio IQ from Diabetes.co.uk, but when i asked my doctor to change my prescription for the test strips and lancets he wouldn't and instead gave me a Bayer Contour TS which i don't think is anywhere near as good as the Verio IQ. I then went on the internet to price up the test strips for the Verio IQ to find they are around about £15 for 50 which i think is really expensive is there anywhere i can get them cheaper please.
 
I know the freestyle ones are 50 for 25 so barg really. If you go to your local pharmacy most will go through the list of test strips and the prices for you
