Hello

I use contour strips and I am sure i saw a bit of bunph once that said if you save them up you can send of the tops of the boxes back to bayer and they will donate diabetes stuff to the africans etc..
Does anyone know how to redeem such an offer?

Regards

Ooh!

I hope something like that does happen! i'm not sure how to redeem this but i know you can also donate insulin too but it has to be in the box and sealed as when i changed from mixed insulin to bbasal/bolus insulin i inquired if something could be done with the leftove insulin i had but unfortunatley i have used one in the box and was told to throw them away!

wow!

well done!

I think for any company that is amazing for them to do something like that! :)

just got my stuff through the mail.
if you use bayer test strips and keep the top if the box they will send you the following for each quota of lids from the top of the boxes

Blue or pink meter case x2 lids
clip n stop (no idea what that is) x 5 lids
first aid kit x 10 lids
GI diet book x 20

if you wanna help others then its
send 25 strips to a third world country x 5 lids
send 50 strips to a third world country x 10 lids
send 125 strips to a third world country x 20 lids

most commendable and think how many could be sent abroad with a coordinated effort...

That is pretty **** good!! so shows iniative for the sender too :)

I changed from bayer strips to one touch a few months a go, otherwise i'd definately join in, however when i was using bayer i never saw anything like this advertised on in a leaflet or something!
