I have mentioned this in previous posts, I test 9 times a day and have no trouble getting them, however my wife who has T2 cannot get them for love nor money, so we share! Same surgery and GP. Go figure.

I'm on a pump though! I'll have to contact my council I think !

That's very weird aha

Until I was referred to a specialist, my surgery, was following the NICE guidelines with both of our symptoms, until I had a hypo in her office. Since then my healthcare has been good, my wife however still is getting knocked back, and the surgery knows. It is a weird surgery. Only one doctor has lasted the last five years..

Very strange indeed! It's not fair really is it!

I have always found that nothing in life that is fair!

As my dad always said when I said that was 'shut up and do the best you can'.

Always try your best, then people will not moan about you!

I know but I guess I can't complain too much! I did apply for the electronic prescription over a month ago and my application is still pending
My Diabetic nurse did prescribe me 4 boxes once, but I can't keep on going to see her! *sigh*

Hi, your diabetic nurse can put them on your monthly repeat request prescription and then they should arrive automatically evey month, most nurses now have the authority to place necessary consumables onto the patients repeat. The next time the order is done, 4 boxes are in the bag, and dont forget the extra lancets if they only come in boxes of 100, see your nurse, I see my nurse more often than i see the doctor, i like it better that way, and i can talk with her on a better level. I think that the nurses are more understanding when it comes to supplying your needs, and not having you stress out with all the mither, that goes on with things. Keep nudging them to supply what you NEED, after all you did not ask to end up diabetic, your body made that decision on it's own with out asking your permission.ttfn.
