hello

i dont like testing myself. and my mum is getting really annoyed becasue i dont test i dont no where my blood sugar level is.

does anyone has any advice

hi Zoee, are you pricking the sides of your fingertips? It's less painfull if you do. Also have the pricker on the minimum setting and massage your finger beforehand. hope this helps :D
 
I test from my forearm the results are just about identicle as testing from the fingers. It dont hurt one bit using the forearm. try it see what you think. I test 8-10 times a day. and cant stand pricking my fingers.
 
I got my daughter some hand cream. She said when her hands are really soft and well looked after it doesn't hurt so much. She could have been just getting me to spend a fortune in body shop.

Just remember to not put any on just before testing as it might effect results.
