Testing in cold climates

Hi, I'm travelling to Iceland in January and a bit nervous about what the freezing cold climate will do to my medication - particularly my glucose meter which seems to struggle even in British November temperatures! Does anybody have any experience of travelling to cold climates with diabetes medication, or know of any frio pouch- style thing I can buy to keep my things at a stable workable temperature?

Thanks :)

Hi,

The only thing I do in winter is wear something like a "body warmer" with an inside pocket to keep my meter near my "core"? (Went to Oslo once & that was pretty **** cold.)
I agree that damp & cold temps. Or even quick changes in climate outside to indoors can throw up errors...

Hope this helps?
