Hi there

Can someone help me please, i was diagnosed with type 2 three months ago, as i am on steroids for Ulcerative Colitis and Asthama i have to test myself, now lately for some reason my blood sugar started dropping to 2 and i got the shakes amd my lips turned white so they want me to test more, only thing is i didnt realise you had to change the number of the strips, i was using number 17 but my new ones have a number 2 on the pot, i have still been using 17 on the machine but the strips are no 2 and my results have been all over the place and is it because i haven't changed the machine to correspond with the number on the little tub and thus giving me false readings?

I have this machine, when I have realised that I have not calibrated it, I have reteseted and the difference is usually only 0.something. Havng said that I don't think any machine is that acurate anyway, as have tested different fingers before at the same time and got massively different results!

Thanks
Still not sure why as a type 2 i am having hypos or whatever there called 2 hours after eating but am off to see the diabetic clinic type people
