Thanks to every one who replied to my post re breakfast cereals. Much appreciated. In my quest to find something that wont spike me I bought Greek yoghurt ( low fat) and mixed pine nuts to add in. In your experience is this a good choice? I'm back to work tomorrow and need something that will keep me functioning without a spike!

Generally the low fat types have a higher suger content to give more flavour. You always have to read the total carbohydrates bit on the label. Also, the alpro soya one is surprisingly good

If you fancy more flavour in your yogurt, some cinnamon is nice. Cinnamon is said to help lower bg levels too. If you find you are hungry soon after the low fat yogurt, try the full fat version next time.

Only ceylon cinnamon I believe is reputed to lower bg. No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
