Review of 3 month interval bloods. Was 60 now 46. Happy. No meds (did try, metformin .... lasted 2 days, cure worse than disease thing), just diet.
However .... it was ever thus, the however I mean ...
have been recording finger prick readings for past 3 months or so and have seen a gradual upward creep in readings. In addition, readings do not seem to corelate to food eaten - for example (could have used eg: there, could I not?) anyway, 3 days ago FBG at 0700 = 7.1, breakfast taken at 1030 and consisted of 2 slices vortigen bread and 3 desert spoons of full fat yoghurt with sprinkle of raisins, this being breakfast for 80% of the time ....... dinner - at 1750 with pre reading of 8.3 - consisted of piece salmon fillet on roast veg, 2 hr later reading 6.3 ?????
I have fallen into not eating before 1000 and not after 1800, obviously there are some days outside of this, but not many.
Are these results weird, or is it just me?

Do you test after breakfast?
The vortigem bread seems to be 13.1 grams of carbs per slice, and raisins are little sugar bombs at 80% carbs, most of which is sugar.
With your pre-dinner reading at 8.3 it may be you're higher throughout the day thanks to your breakfast.

Your before and after dinner readings make sense to me: If you were still coming down after the breakfast carbs and you had a very low carb dinner, there was nothing in your dinner to push BG back up so you may have finally dropped.
