Some Time ago on TV channel in the UK. There was documentary about food and how it works in the body. The part that sticks with me is this scientist that had 3 rats. The first one only ate fat, the second only ate sugar, the third was given an 50/50 mix of sugar and fat. (Cheesecake) The first and second rats only ate enough of what they were eating to stay healthy. This is because when that got to a curtain point a chemical switch within the brain told them they'd had enough. The third rat ate twice as much because it needed the sugar or fat switch to trigger to stop eating. Obviously the rat gained weight. The thing is I can relate as I'm over weight as I like cheesecake too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03t8r4h/Horizon_20132014_Sugar_v_Fat/
