Not sure of the best brand to go for and have little experience. Please advise what you consider the best for lchf diet in the following:
Sausages
Yoghurt
Soup

spent ages in sainsbury looking at labels...security must have thought I was up to no good ;-)

Sausages - anything above 97% meat - black farmers - heck - I buy mine from local butcher gluten free
Yoghurt - Greek 0% plain
Soup - my advice make your own - have never found a low carb soup - have a look on line for low carb soup recipes - really easy to make and far better for you - just be careful if you use stock pots rather than cubes some of them have 7-8g of carbs which may add extra carbs to a veg soup

Yoghurt, buy the fattest plain you can find. Make sure there is no sugar added though but the plain ones are usually fine. I go for 10% fat Greek yoghurt in small amounts as milk of all kinds contain surprising numbers of sugar.

Tesco Finest Outdoor Bred Sausages or Chipolatas are only 0.6 g of Carb per 100g and the lowest I have found.

Yoghurt: Milbona Greek Yoghurt from Lidl is nice and creamy and low carb. (I think 3.6g per 100g)

Souips: We only eat homemade. I think virtually all commercial brands will have potato starch added and are usually quite high carb.

Lidl do high meat content Lincolnshire sausages 0.5g per 100g ( from memory). Both Aldi and Lidl do several other varieties of high meat content sausages which are really low in carbs.I heard previously that it is to do with German regulation on fillers in meat products, which I understand is fairly strict. So even though these sausages are made here the habit of not packing their sausages with cereal has stuck.
Lidl also do a cracking Turkish yougurt which is low carb, so thick it is almost like cream cheese yum!
Soup is tougher I make my own.

@Muffintop I had the same problem with selecting yogurts, in the end I gave up looking and went for double cream instead.

I have the Alpro Yoghurt the plain or coconut each 2.1g carb per 100g. Avoid the fruit ones I think that has 9.9g.
Sausages like every one else.. as high a meat content as poss.. Waitrose has just started stocking a brand called Heck which has 97% sausages and sausage meat square burger type things which are yummy. Soup ...try checking some of the consommé types.. they seem very low carb then add some green veggies and meat to make them more substantial.

I can only advise on yogurt, but Waitrose's Greek natural strained yogurt is delicious at 3.7g, Tesco's Finest Greek yogurt is also amazing at 3.8. Lidl do Turkish and Greek yogurts at 4.2g and 3.2g respectively.

I then add psyllium seed husks, linseeds and Lidl's mixed seeds to make sure everything is *ahem* moving smoothly! Sorry, possibly TMI!

Thanks everybody for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it. I will make a note of what you said and pick them up next time I'm shopping!

Lovinglife that's an amazing photo. Well done!

I make big batches of soup and freeze it - really handy for those times when you're tired or off colour and want something comforting and easy. My favourites are spicy spinach, chicken and veg, and cream of celery.
