what a fab article! Really refreshing to read an article about diabetes written by someone who actually lives with it every day rather than just data or info, which can be helpful, but also a bit intimidating at times as it's words rather than experience so I'm never sure if I can trust it
At least his doctor just said 'you have diabetes'. I had a urine test at the walk in clinic and the nurse came out into the waiting room and said 'err, you do know you're diabetic, right?' I had known for over 20 years but I was so tempted to burst into tears and make him feel guilty for breaking it to me so insensitively. Maybe I'm just a bad person though...
