Hi guys
Mixed feelings this week, and struggling a little. The good news is, my hba1c last week was 68 (was 109 in March), so although still high, a lot better than it was. The bad news is, I've got Shingles, which is leaving me feeling run down and quite sore. My readings this week have been all over the place. My dietitian says this will because of the shingles, as my body is having to fight a virus. And then to add insult to injury, it's that time of the month!
So, my question for the ladies, does the time of the month affect your sugars? I have PCOS, so don't have periods, unless they are induced, which this one was, so this is quite new to me, so apologies if this sounds like a stupid question.
