Hi All

Interesting piece about a weekly treatment for type 2 diabetes. That proved
safe and effective for patients in a trial involving 259 volunteers.

Although further clinical trials are needed.

It appears Dr Daniel Drucker at the Samuel Lunenfield Research Institute
of Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto, Canada is the spokesperson.

I looked at the guardian on line and it looks like it's a version of Byetta( exenatide) It won't happen here if it's as expensive as Byetta. there are vey few Byetta users on this forum, but probabaly more people who could benefit from it, but don't get it because of cost.
THEY probably want us all on insulin. It's cheap! (My GP said that!)
