The hard work was worth it!

My daughter had a clinic check up yesterday and all the tests, calculations, researching, lack of sleep, help and support from everyone on here has lowered her Hba1c from 8.8 to 7.9 in just 6 weeks :shock: :D

I also got answers to my million questions and some help and advice :)
I have some guidance on spliting doses for problem meals in the evening although it didn't quite work out for last nights pizza :roll:
But i will continue to experiment now that i have the initial information.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all those who have helped me lately

I have been getting so frustrated with it all and a bit impatient :oops:
But that is the best encouragement i could ever have to keep on going and making adjustments to get more 'good' days
Next appointment is 22 september but i am not sure it will change much in that time but i shall try my best!

Check out the 'type 1 mom song' on you tube - I think it sums up everything us parents do but in a humorous way.
 
Spearmint that is fantastic news, well done to you and your daughter. Seeing that HbA1c coming down certainly is motivating. Keep up the hard work :) Leggott, I've seen that song before, so true isn't it :)
