The man with the disappearing Type 1. An update...

Gardening, housework and walking leisurely - they have a real lowering effect. There could be a really good scientific reason but I can't think of it - but I need to he careful with light activity.

I can kneel in one place gently pulling up tiny weeds for a few minutes and my blood sugar will plunge. It's utterly weird.

If only we knew what was happening and could bottle it as a cure : D

I do think many Type 1s have more remaining/functional beta cells than we'd think.
 
I've just discovered this phenomenon today @azure removing weeds from the driveway. I've been snacking all afternoon chasing low 4s and still hypo'd!

Like you say, utterly weird.
 
This is going to sound really new wavey but my mother mentioned that the moves in yoga with twisting your body helps to stimulate your organs and supposedly helps clear out toxins (not sure if there is a scientific basis to this...) but sounds very similar! Maybe I will do my own test, start doing Russian twists and see if it brings my blood sugar down!
