Diabetes!!!
Since I've been taking Glaucophage 1000mg and 120mg of Gliclazide I seem to have gotten the most ridiculously itchy foot. Is this coincidental or a normal thing?

Do you have foot fungus? Does it smell funny? Very normal and common in people with diabetes. I would ask my doctor to evaluate it for me.

Is your sugar levels below 7.8mmol/l constantly? Has your liver enzymes been checked lately?

My BS are average around 6.8 - 7.5 I had full BC, Liver ALT'S etc. all done last week and my result was still high. However I have recently changed medication and diet

I had athlete's foot a couple of months back which was successfully treated and everything was fine. I had my foot check and circulation check last week and my nurse was pleased with my feet and she never detected any kind of fungal presence. There's no odour. Only thing is (and I'm sorry to mention) I do have quite sweaty feet slot as I'm on my feet a lot at work.

Athlete's feet tends to recur, especially if blood glucose is running a little high.
Does it tingle? Sort of very small pins and needles?

Is it only on one part of your foot or the whole thing?

And yes, all of these things are very common with type 2, it may go away as your blood sugar and liver enzymes go down or it may be something unrelated to diabetes and more related to being on your feet a lot.
If it continues I would mention it to my doctor.

I have had recurring athlete's feet and the beginning of neuropathy which was reversed after I started metformin.

The liver bile buildup can cause itchy skin.
