Diabetes UK think I am a "newbie" despite having been a member since 2015. This resulted after I was locked out for what ever reason (I never knew why & the webmaster didn't know either) about two years ago. I couldn't reset my password as I was told that my email was not recognised and I couldn't open a new account because my normal email was already registered . Chickens and eggs come to mind. The only way I could re-register was by using my Gmail account, which I never use, so it feels really great being "newbie" after just EIGHT years.

Hi @Phil42x ,

According to your profile you joined over a year ago, is this when all this happened?
Diabetes UK think I am a "newbie" despite having been a member since 2015.
Just to make sure, do you mean this forum (diabetes.co.uk), which isn't by Diabetes UK or the other one, which is by them: https://forum.diabetes.org.uk/boards/?

If the problem is with this forum, our moderator and admin team will be able to find your original account if you know which email was used.
Let me tag a couple of them so they can help you out: @lovinglife , @KennyA @ianf0ster

Thanks for the tag @Antje77.

As @Antje77 pointed out this forum and its website is Diabetes.co.uk not Diabetes UK.

Hi @Phil42x If you are certain that you were registered here at DCUK and you would like us to find your old account then just reply to this thread with the request and we will contact you for your email address etc

Please don’t post your email address here in the thread for safety and security reasons.
