No one has mentioned the Rio games.
We are getting a lot of medals.
Which event, medal or performance has your admiration or anger?

For me, Mo Farah.
Hope he does the double!

I have, t been watching the Olympics. I love the athletics but as I have, t got freeview HD, I can,t choose what I want to watch. All the sport on bbc1 and bbc4 just don't interest me

Has to be Michael Phelps with his remarkable gold tally.

I have the red button on bbc1 but it just goes to bbc4

Loving the olympics
Think Great Britain are doing really well
All participants are winners in my eyes

Ally do you use a set top box to tune your TV, or does your tv do it all? What happens if you tune to something like 601?

Unfortunately I haven't watched a lot of the Olympics, as I do enjoy it and admire the wonderful dedication and performances of the athletes. GB is doing well, I love track and field the best, like swimming, diving and gymnastics, judo and rowing as well. I am supporting all of the GB team, for a small country, we are world class and they are all winners

It's incredible, a fifth the size of the USA, a squillinonth of China and we are second based on colour weighting so proud and Mo living himself up and winning....just seen that world record 400m....from the outside lane with him running a faster second half on the splits. ....truly amazing

I Don, t have a freeview box, the TV came with freeview built into it

OK.

If you look on the BBC website, they have a huge range of events streaming at any given time. That might be helpful. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/rio-2016/video

There's obviously nothing live streaming right now, due to the time difference, but later today there'll be loads on. I can connect my laptop to a TV with an HDMI cable for a big screen experience, but I tend not to bother.

I'd say the BBC is your best bet.

I love my sport.

I use a tabket

Morning Ally

My TV has built in Freeview also. Here's what happens on mine - you might be able to replicate...

BBC1 - press red button, press enter while 'big red square' highlighted - defaults to BBC4

wait a moment, top right hand corner shows Blue button. If it doesn't come voluntarily then press blue button.

Blue button shows 'red button digital channels', amount varies throughout the day, scroll down and chose what you want.

Return to normal - press blue button scroll down to exit.

Hope this works OK.

Could you download the BBC Sport app? It's a free one, and has all the same options as the PC/Laptop version. Obviously, streaming over the internet tends to increase your broadband use, so if you have a limited use contract or PAYG internet arrangement, you might want to think that through.

That's a good idea, will look into it

I'm going to be sitting in the garden with my tablet, watching the athletics shortly. It's great!

Ally, BBC2 shows a re-run of all the previous night events at 9-15am. This includes the athletics. You can make a cuppa during the less interesting sports. BBC1 is showing the day time athletics during the afternoons. It's on right now.

The dressage is quite clever the horses are immaculate turn out

But I wouldn't pay to watch it and can only watch in small doses
