Myself and a colleague have just worked out that if you drink 8 pints of lager and have a channa dahl to eat plus a second meal of soft cheese with cucumber and tomatoes then you will have about 1800 calories, 114g carbs and 31g dietary fibre. Perhaps this is the way forward? :p

I would happily drip feed dark choc, double cream, jerky and kale crisps. Would that work?

Hmm. Maybe tip some psyllium husks into a LC hot choc to get that all important fibre...

@Brunneria - this is a website of a chocolate shop in Kendal, the hot chocolate they sell is literally just melted chocolate - the lady that owned it a few years ago (maybe she still does not sure) was on our local news saying that sheclivedconly on the melted chocolate drinking about 3 mugs a day she ate nothing else but was totally healthy she had done this for a number of years. I have put the link on but be warned read it at your peril - make sure you have your super dooper choccie avoidance suit on before you look :couchpotato::stinkyfeet:;)

Hahaha! :D:D:D
I was in there last summer! Had a takeaway paper cup of hot choc and sat on a bench with the dogs in the sun, enjoying every sip.

It was absurdly sweet, but still delicious. Amazing how our tastes change on low carb, isn't it? :)

Why would you want that much fibre?

The recommended fibre intake is 30g per day although most people have 14g-18g. Having said that I have had a very dodgy stomach today after a whopping 37g of fibre. Not sure I want to go through that every day!

The 30g per day of fibre recommendation isn't based on any better evidence than the rest of the Eatwell guidelines. Google "Fibre Menace" for some better info (in my opinion) on fibre. Personally, I find zero grams of fibre works best for me.

Cripes. Another thing to think about. Just when I thought I was doing so well. I expect I will always eat fibre simply because I have found fruit and veg in my diet to be something that seems to make me feel better.
