The power of taking control of your own health (Why self testing is great).

Really interesting, and these students should be much more aware as health professionals when they qualify.

Their average glucose on the CGM was 115mg/dl yet their average A1c was 5.1% . . . ????

Yes, this immersion method of teaching nutrition and its relation to metabolic disease with self-monitoring is interesting and heartening indeed.

I often wonder how medical professionals can't "get it" how reassuring and instructive - both - as we know - self-monitoring BG in relation to - everything metabolic! is to those with blood glucose dysregulation. (And those ones who are self-monitoring to make sure they are in the safe zone.) But this is an argument I have had to boringly engage in multiple times with medical professionals, and of course, many OECD governments are not backing us with subsidies on blood glucose monitoring as we know. How wonderful, truly wonderful, if they had this kind of understanding? Ah, Aloe feels a bit giddy with optimism here, for sure.
