When people who know nothing about the LCHF diet tell me I'm killing myself being on it. I was killing myself not being on it!
BS :41 (had been up to 61 at the very start of this journey

Cholesterol: 5.7
good Hdl 1.57
Bad (forgotten the initials!) 3.85
Ratio 3.6

Nurse very happy and I don't have to go back until April :)

Wasn't easy getting blood from me, very sore. In the end she used a child's butterfly needle and then only just got enough, on the 3rd attempt!

Hey great results. well done you!
Did you get a number for triglycerides? They are nastier than the so called "bad" cholesterol AKA "LDL"

Sorry about being stabbed mutiple times.. it makes the three goes they had at me sound quite mild..

Disgraceful. I've had some bad experiences but lately test have been okay

No I wasn't given them. Will try to find out what they were.

Normally this nurse is very good, she is the only one I will trust to take my bloods. Getting blood from me is like trying to get blood out of a stone!

Hi @bulkbiker I just phoned the practice and another nurse gave me the triglyceride result.
0.73
Previous result (a while back) 0.75
She congratulated me on my overall results.
Off to cook a sirloin steak for lunch! Then a long cycle before work 2.30 to 10pm late shift again. An 8.00 to 4.20 shift over the weekend :( prefer the early 7am to 2.35
