The right to chose what nurse to take blood test?

The nurse that normally takes my blood test is superb, doesn’t hurt me and leaves only a small bruise. However, the last blood test I had was taken by a different nurse and it was quite painful and left a large bruise. I had to have a blood test a day ago and noted that it was the nurse who gave me a painful test last time and I declined to use her services. When I asked if I could have my usual nurse the practice manager became assertive and said I would have to use the nurse I was given and if I was not satisfied perhaps I should go to a different practice. I have been with that practice for over 50 years. I left the practice feeling very upset. I have two questions:
1. Can I be chucked out of the practice?
2. Is it possible for me to get my blood test elsewhere and if so where?

1) I can't see them doing that for the reasons you state.

2) I doubt it very much if your under the care of your gp for your diabetes checks, only other way is if you were under the care of a hospital clinic.

btw, to stop the bruising apply pressure to the point in which they take the blood, bruising is just blood that has leaked.

I have 'Nurse Nightshade' at my GP surgery. I don't like the way she treats me so I won't see her. I just as for the other one.
