Remind the poster then if no result report the post. I dropped out for that reason only it was me derailing....not intentionally, but I'd reply to other posters comments, then they to me, then.......

If that means you are leaving us that's a shame...I'm sure lots of people would miss you, not just me.

That's very kind of you to say - @Sable_Jan I shall miss the quick fire word games. I enjoyed them very much.
But, there has been some 'unrest' for several weeks on some of the threads and a lot of regulars have stopped posting, despite tagging and sending them PM's. I have for the last few weeks been indecisive = shall I stay or shall I go?
A few people are on Facebook and got a few email addresses.
Just waiting to hear from the Administrator - sent him PM nearly 2 hours ago!!

Hi Liam, admin are not normally on at the weekends, so tomorrow, you should hopefully get a response. I didn't know of any unrest, but hopefully any problems will get sorted out. Take care RRB

Here here to that Jan I will definitely miss you William you have been a very big help to me getting my BG under control as well as other problems . I have had some problems with the PM on here not receiving not being sent happening more since been using app rather than PC

In other places I drop into this would be considered to be a flounce....
If a thread deviates from what I hope it might be I tend to drop off it... there are plenty of others about and if not, start a new one... but that's just probably me.

I do the same @Sable_Jan as I cannot see people being ignored when they are seeking help. I think that's cruel. Especially when some people haven't the time to trawl forums to find the perfect place to ask a question.
You have to ask yourself why do newees feel more comfortable asking on that thread compared to others?
Because people are stating their success so of course others want to join us, in the good times!
 
Western medicine does my head in!!!!!!!!!! There's so much in that we don't know, and even more where there's little to no evidence that is replicable in labs/ethically sound studies, that means so many people have problems that they just cannot help. If they cannot throw drugs or surgery at something they really don't have any answers..... They don't help themselves by being so specialised that they fail to find problems that maybe have their root cause in one system, but manifest in a totally different system of the body.... Gynaecology seems to be the worst for this! Argghhhhh the body is one big machine, but the doctors seem to concentrate too much on individual parts rather than the whole!!!! Grrrr! Give me good old fashioned holistic medicine any day of the week! As an aromatherapist, reflexologist, and Swedish masseuse I know the benefit and power that traditional holistic medicine can have. Many times being of benefit when western medicine cannot.

Please do not misunderstand me I do believe that western medicine has its place and benefits, I'm just sick of the whole attitude that Drs know best, when quite patently the history and holes in the knowledge of western medicine does not bear this out!!!!!!

I find a gp only gives you more and more tablets. No cure.
I expect too much from my gp. Bless him.
I forget he isn't a specialist sometimes.
My poor specialist had to listen to me question him about fruit and fatty liver coincidence.
I've proved my point thou. My mum now has fatty liver and eats why too much fruit. Slimming world diet for you.
They don't always get it right.
Ultimately, you know your own body better. They should listen more.
 
My son has received 4 years of paperwork regarding my 10 year old grandson, He has read 15 pages and he has been sick and cried, he is devastated and now he has just read that the mothers partner has been charged with battery against one my granddaughter's and my little grandson was shot with a BB gun by the partner, I can't believe I am writing this, I can't believe this is happening and I am in bits, feel sick and so angry against Berkshire social services, I am absolutely heartbroken, how can a service that is supposed to help and keep children safe still be operating in this way, I feel so much hatred right now for SS and no one is here but me, why, why, why did my little grandson and his sister suffer so much, why ??????????????
 
RRB we are here to share your loss. It is extremely sad and disgusting that children are being let doen in this country. Services are cut and cut. Children are the ones left suffering.
I'm angry for you. This should never be happening when billions are spent on war ships. Etc.
You must get your MP involved. This shouldnt be happening in a so called 1st world country.
You dont say how injured your grandson is or if indeed he survived. I pray the evil culprit gets put into a rough prison, for life!
We need more loving mothers. They need to teach kindness and love in schools now as none or little floating around for the little people. They are classed as an inconvenience or a way to increase benefits last longer.
Poor children of today - some dont even get dragged up.
I hope you are around some supportive people right now. Of course we are here but at home. Anyone around for you, at this upseting time?

Big hugs for you and your son. The depth of evil in this world is horrible. Kids should never have to suffer such things, and I'm so sorry that your grandkids have. I have no explanation as to why some people should do this. Most in SS are good honest loving people whose hands are tied in what they can do, and when they can do it. However like in any organisation they have their bad eggs. I'm so sorry this has happened to your family....
 

Thank you so much, no one is here, teen is in Italy, my son is at his home, trying to take it all in. The mother denied the assault with a BB gun, apparently, BB, is 'ball bearings' she said it didn't happen, bruising was seen. My son said he is having a cup of tea right now, then he might go out for a walk, we were both crying on the phone, but he shouted and swore said some words about the pair of them. We have found out my grandson is in Margate Kent.

I think I'd be saying a few words as well, if it were my kids. Can your son not get custody? Or is this what the paperwork is about?
