So I've finished reading The Shepherd's Crown; The 41st and last Discworld Novel by Sir Terry Pratchett.
I find it hard to believe this is it...no more Discworld novels from this amazing man. This is one of his finest works; it is extraordinary even by his own high stabdards. The opening chapters of The Shepherd's Crown brought a tear to my eye.
I had the pleasure of meeting him once; he was sat in the row in front of me and my wife at a production of Lords and Ladies at Shirehampton in Bristol. In fact had it not been for an epic all night conversation about his literature at University my wife and I may never have got together. Now if only old boney would let us have him back.
