Morning folks,
A couple of weeks ago I posted my first post on this site asking for help.
I got a suitably swift kick up the @rse and was told to sort my diet out.
So.....
In the last 2 weeks my resuls have been a high of 10.2 (and I know what caused that) to a low of 3.9
Most of my readings are in the 6.something area.
My blood tester gives a 7 day average of 6.6, 14 days of 6.5 and even my 30 day average is only 7.3 and it has all my pre-proper-diet (low-carb) readings on it.
Also my morning readings vary from 4.8 to 7.4.
I am aware that I need to eat more veg, especially when I'm in my digs but overall I'm very happy with the results.
But oh how I miss chips :D

Thanks for all your advice

That is great news, keep up the good work! Yet again it has been proved that reducing carbs does work....I wish we could get everyone to think the way you do and be positive and take control of their diabetes.

Gef, That's a brilliant set of results. And the really impressive thing that tells me you really have cracked it is that when the BG jumped, you know why.

BTW...We all miss chips!!( and chocolate and big bowls of pasta

Actually I still eat chocolate.
Main Green and Blacks or Co-op Fairtrade 85% cocoa solids.
According to the packet each bar contains 17.1g Carb, so a strip of 3 pieces contains 1.7g carb.
Its my occasional treat :D
