The street that cut everything.

Did anyone watch this programme on BBC1 last night?

The householders in a street in Preston gives up all council services for 6 week. They get a 6 week rebate on their Council Tax and have to fund the necessary services with this money.

They obviously lacked the knowledge needed and there were personality clashes.
 
I watched it and couldn't help thinking that as it ended pretty much in tears last night what it would be like after the next 5 weeks.

They seemed unable to make any firm plans or decisions and also seemed totally unaware of the services that councils provide. Quite a large proportion of them seemed to think that if they personally didn't need a particular service then it should not be provided foe anyone else.

I don't think that physical violence can be ruled out over the next six weeks :lol:

The program showed the whole 6 weeks, it now the cameras are off them that I dont think their be getting on lol
 
Oh I thought that was just the first episode :lol:
