:D My daughter recently bought this for herself she is 22,it was in her bedroom,I watched her on this and i thought another gimmick!!!!!
Anyway it is now in the livingroom i am addicted i do 3 ten minute slots through out the day, this week i have lost 4 pounds just a few easy excersises and eating a healthy diet i am well pleased with myself, has any one else bought one,I myself dont like excersise but this is addictive and fun :)

Hi Helen,

Whether it be WII, walking the dog, gym, aeorobics, swimming etc., any exercise is good for you. What's most important is to find something you enjoy doing and stick to it.

Yes, I actually do do other exercise but the Wi fit is fun and addictive! Its hard to take yourself seriously when you are a penguin catching fish :D

I am trying very hard to reach 2000 hula hoop spins on at least one side I've managed 980 on each side but I think it cheats! Its certainly very effective exercise
The one thing I don't do on it is the jogging on the spot as I run anyway and to do it for long enough would be both boring and not particularly good for my knees.

My sons have Wiis and we do have a laugh on them when we get together. The ski jumping is good fun but the balance things are quite hard, especially balancing on one leg for any length of time. As for the tight-rope walking......the word hopeless springs to mind.

I love mine - I got it in November for my birthday. Only problem is I get so carried away I forget to pace myself and hypo!

hi all

The wii fit does the world of good although I also play rugby so am generally fit anyway. 3000 hula hoops and increasing! The Mrs is on the Wii fit now as well and loves it. My BMI is 28.85 but I tend to ignore that as I'm 6'5 and 17.5 stone but most of this is muscle!

My boyfriend gave me a Wii for Christmas and i got the Wii Fit Board to add to it - oh, i love it!

Especially since the on-going pain in my foot has made my previous exercise regime impossible, now i can play tennis and jog on the spot and try to develop a sense of balance. The thing is always reminding me, however, that i favour my right side and am not standing with equal pressure on both legs but it wont listen when i shout back that my left foot hurts! LOL

I havent managed more than 12 hula hoop thingies.

Did i mention that i have no sense of rythm nor of balance?

Anyway, i love this toy!

bunty

Boxing on the Wii is great. I'm quite happy to stand in front of the TV and pretend to beat the cr*p out of a Mii!!!

You won't catch me jogging on the spot, though. But the Mrs. LOVES Wii Jogging...

How on earth did he do that ?
Now discovered that you can do it for 10minutes . I'd only been doing it for 6. Hard work but beat the 3000! and it told me my age was only 26, (though doubtless I will be far older next time) a very good session!
