Has anyone been to Chessington or Thorpe park on the train? I am hoping to go very soon with my daughter and was it an easy journey, are there busses from the train station to the Theme Parks etc? Any information would be very helpful. Thank you :) RRB
 
I think the entrance to Chessington is right accross the road from the station - i went there on the train nearly 20 years ago. If i remember rightly, we went to waterloo and got a train directly from there, but i could be wrong. I've never been to Alton Towers.
