Why would I do that? I only want to see posts relevant to me or that I can actually answer/help with. I've got post viral fatigue syndrome too so I cannot afford to spare my extremely limited energy on reading about Type 2 diabetes, which is a different disease that I do not have, and which most of the posts are about. The subject lines alone usually do not reveal if the post is relevant to me or not. When you have ME/PVFS/CFS you learn very quickly that you need to cut to the chase in any given interaction and you must choose all interactions carefully and thoughtfully - ruthlessly, sometimes. So, the Type 1 forum it is for me, in general. I would imagine that for different reasons - eg hectic social life, busy family life - many other Type 1s might do the same. The only reason that I've even been looking elsewhere on this forum recently is that the PVFS has lifted somewhat and although I'm not right yet, I can just about get away with a vaguely halfway normal existence and spare a little energy here and there.
