Good morning from Oz where it is a bit on the cool side this morning, it was 7° Celsius earlier.
I have found a wealth of info that I am finding very useful over the last couple of days since I joined the community. I wish I had discovered the forum and main website earlier.
I was diagnosed as type two a couple of years ago, and have managed to keep a good grip on it, but lately I have been having some problems keeping my glucose levels down. Needless to say my Doctor is getting the big stick out next time I see him (Friday).
I am a member of NDSS which subsidises my strips down from $50.00 per 100 to $1.50 which is a great saving to me.
I use a Accu-Chek Performa testing meter which seems to be a popular model here, this probably due to them having a $70.00 cash back policy when you send the voucher back.
That's all I can think of at the moment, more random ramblings later.
