- FOOTBALL. MY husband is a sports fanatic and watches everything. Most i can put up with just not football.
Just spoke to my DN for the first time in a long time. Her and the DSN have been chatting about me and apparently i dont seem to fit in any diabetic group  :?: I know this leads to the same thing anyway but i dont think my diabetes came the usual way diabetes comes. Before i started having diabetes symptoms, I started with horrific stomache pains which now i know was the start of pancreatitis. I have said all along to different doctors that when i was having gallstone problems it wasn't that that was playing up but the pancreas. The pain is in a different place. It was just coincidence that they just happened to find a gallstone and went with it, Maybe because i dont fit the usual type who gets it, who knows. For the last week or so i have been unwell and with the symptoms again which does affect sugar levels. I mentioned my theory to her and she says it sounds possible because they dont understand my sugar levels staying high. I also found out that the pioglitazone my doc changed me to takes 6-8 weeks to work and she wouldn't of started me on such a low dose. I'm having my 3 monthly test next friday and they are testing for GAD. I explained that sitigliptin (januvia) worked really well for me and i had a couple of good levels from it 5.5 / 6.1 but it was that one that brought about pancreatitis again. I asked if there was anything else like that, she said yes but it was a secondry care. Can someone tell me what secondry care is please?
