On a long pump break because my infusion sites kept bleeding. Now almost every injection bleeds or leaves a bruise and I've also noticed when I prick my fingers the blood is very watery and hard to form a blob for the meter to suck the blood in, if you know what I mean. Any ideas? wondering if it's anemia. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Sometimes I get 'thin blood' when I've used certain moisturisers, etc and find it hard to form a droplet to test.

Hmm... I know that low blood sugar reduces coagulopathy, so if you test when you're low it might take a lot longer to get your finger to stop bleeding. What is your blood sugar like when you notice thin blood?

Anaemia could be a sensible guess - I think it's quite a straight forward test, the chemists (boots etc) might test for it, like they do blood sugar, or there are home test kits for like £10 if you are worried.

I'm going to go and see the Doctor because I have been anemic in the past. When I took it just now and it bleed lots I was 15.5! don't ask!!!!! can't get any form of control recently. No moisturiser etc on my hands currently
